Ione School District Families,

First of all I want to thank you for your support of the district, and more importantly for your support of each other. As we navigate through the impacts of the COVID-19 virus, it is important now more than ever that we pull together.

The most recent order from the governor includes the closure of outdoor recreation facilities. In compliance with this order, the district is closing our athletic fields, gyms, tennis courts, and playground to the public.

Supplemental Instructional Materials:

It is VERY IMORTANT that your student(s) 7 – 12 check their school email account
(firstname.lastnameationesd.org ()) so they can access the materials teachers are sending out. If they need us to reset their password, please let us know.

We are be putting together on-line and paper packets beginning April 1st and we are also going to be coordinating delivery of those packets with the bus company and at the school office. If your student is in need of an electronic device (Chromebook, or iPad) please let us know.

Online supplemental instructional materials are also available to all ISD students through the following platform:

Students in kindergarten through 8th grade have access to iReady (https://login.i-ready.com/) reading and math via their regular login. Assistance with your child’s login information can be requested by email to mary.rietmannationesd.org

The district will continue to provide breakfast and lunch to all children age 18 and under throughout the school closure (Monday thru Friday). Bus routes continue to evolve as stops are added. If you or your child is having trouble accessing the meals, please send an email to cathy.mccabeationesd.org

We are still awaiting news from the Oregon Department of Education about our Senior Class and the requirements for them to graduate. As soon as I hear what ODE has come up with, I will be calling each Senior (parents) with that information.
